FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic pulse hardware, particularly, to welding transformer to be used in inverter welding units for contact and arc welding and cutting of various hardware. Tapetype primary, first and second secondaries made of metal foil shaped to Archimedes coil are fitted coaxially on transformer magnetic core. Transformer service coil features high temperature resistance factor and is fitted outside of the primary, at its centre. First and second secondaries wound in opposition are fitted at equal distance on the left and right sides of service winding. Every winding consists of several current conducting layers isolated by dielectric inserts.

EFFECT: higher reliability and stability of output characteristics, wide frequency range, high efficiency, compact design.
